Watch mechanisms are representations of the passage of time as dictated by astronomy, but for me it also represents the development of human beings, time changes constantly and marches forward, and so should we as human beings. Time is a teacher and an inspiration to evolve and how to be better humans, If you want give someone the most expensive gift in the world, Give them your TIME.

C A B R E R A

The name CABRERA is the family name of my grandmother's first husband, but also the name of my cousin. Watching us from heaven as our guardian angel, both of them has been an inspiration for me to find my way in this life.

T H E B E G I N N I N G

Stockholm, Sweden is the birthplace of the brand Claudio Cabrera, but my story began long time before, in Valparaiso, Chile where I was born. Living only my first 2 years in this ruggedly beautiful region in the middle of Chile, me and my mother moved to Sweden.

GROWING UP

Watch mechanisms were back then for me only an item to understand time, I never gave it much of an attention until a friend's interest in watches and the complexity of the parts awakened my own interest. It was also from him I bought my first watch, that I still own today. Many years later in the summer of 2015 I decided to make my own watch, so I started to draw the first lines of what was to become the Claudio Cabrera watch. I took inspiration from previously owned watches and combined, then things that I loved the most of each and every one of them to create this beautiful timepiece that I am very proud to call my own.
